A Law firm with an office space of approximately 1200 sft, located in the commercial hub of Bijoynagar, Dhaka.

The colour palate for the office includes black and white with the pine colour and texture.

A sophisticated working environment for a supreme court barrister, an advocate, three associates and six junior associates, an enclosed meeting space with a cozy waiting space and reception along with service amenities were among the design requirements. Also, one of the primary requirements was bookshelves with storage cabinets, housing the expansive collection of books and case files which are the identity of any law firms were turned into the key design element. The bookshelves were used to define each of the spaces. Full height two-way bookshelves were designed to form sound proof enclosed offices for both the barrister & advocate along with the meeting room.

The associates’ cabins were distinguished with door-height one & two-way bookshelves, identifying it as segments of one continuous space. The central zone of the entire office was allocated for the junior associates as an open workspace with custom designed workstations. The bookshelves were custom designed with multiple lights, each adding a depth to its purpose. The cozy waiting space is held together by the bookshelves and a two layered drop ceiling. The drop ceilings accentuate both the waiting and reception area. The reception desk is faced with a continuous marble slab outlined with light drawing one’s attention to the company logo.
